Sales

Sacramento, United States

Type: Full-time

Pay: $22–$24/hr + performance bonuses

You’re ready to take the lead.

You’ve worked with customers before. You know how to ask good questions and how to keep things organized. Now you want to be part of the process from start to finish — not just greeting people, but helping them make decisions they’re proud of.

This role is about clear communication, smart follow-up, and simple designs. You’ll start small and grow into full-scale projects over time. If you’re ready to step into something more technical, more consultative, and more rewarding — we’ll teach you everything you need.

About Us

At Anova Cabinet & Stone, we help people create spaces they love to live in. That includes homeowners, contractors, and developers.

We offer high-quality products without the custom price tag, and we treat every customer with respect and care. The result? People feel confident in what they’re getting — because we take the time to guide them the right way.

Our team is growing, and we believe everyone here should leave better than when they started. We don’t expect perfect. We expect present, coachable, and committed.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work directly with customers to understand their needs and create basic designs. These might be vanity layouts, laundry rooms, or starter kitchens. You’ll own your quotes, your files, and your communication.

You’ll:

  • Meet with walk-in customers and referrals passed from the receptionist
  • Ask the right questions to scope the project, timeline, and decision-maker
  • Build quotes using our tools (Odoo, 2020 Design, email)
  • Design basic kitchen and bath layouts with support from senior staff
  • Manage follow-ups, revisions, and customer communication
  • Coordinate with our warehouse and scheduling team for fulfillment
  • Improve your speed, accuracy, and confidence with every project

You won’t be thrown into the deep end. We’ll train you on design tools and products. You’ll learn as you go. What matters is that you’re consistent, professional, and focused on the next step.

Who This Role Is For

You’re not new to customers. You know how to listen, how to follow through, and how to build trust. You’re also ready to learn something more technical — even if you’ve never touched design software before.

You like having control of your work. You take pride in accurate quotes, clear notes, and a smooth process. You stay organized because it helps the customer. And when things go wrong, you don’t freeze or blame — you fix it and keep moving.

This role is for someone who:

  • Wants to grow into a professional designer
  • Thrives when responsible for their own success
  • Communicates clearly and follows up without reminders
  • Can handle multiple open projects without dropping the ball
  • Learns from feedback and wants to get better every week

What Helps You Succeed

  • Experience in retail, showroom, or customer sales roles
  • Ability to write clean emails and follow up with purpose
  • Familiarity with quoting, measurements, or remodeling is a plus
  • Comfort using a computer and learning new tools (we’ll train you)
  • Willingness to work Saturdays
  • Bilingual skills are helpful but not required

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time, 6 days/week (Monday–Sunday showroom)
  • $22/hr - 24/hr + performance bonuses
  • Paid training
  • Promotion path to Designer and Senior Designer roles
